Summary of Job Duties: The Social work BSW Program Coordinator position has a full-time appointment to the social work program and sufficient assigned time (at least 25% at the baccalaureate level) to provide educational and administrative leadership (CSWE, 2008, 3.4.4.). The BSW Coordinator is responsible for the overall functioning of the undergraduate program in social work. This position will maintain regular office hours, Co-chair of curriculum committee, Chair of the BSW Admissions committee, implement BSW program student orientation, advising, teach 2 courses per semester, and other duties as assigned. Regular, non-disruptive, and reliable attendance is required as well as student-centeredness, teamwork, and the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications: The individual selected for this position will be expected to possess the following required qualifications:

1. CSWE accredited MSW degree
2. World view consistent with social work values and ethics
3. Teaching experience or evidence of potential for excellence in this area

Preferred Qualifications:
1. DSW or PhD in social work or a related field
2. Strong teaching orientation
3. Online teaching or distance education experience and knowledge or interest in this area
4. Experience in course development
5. Practice in various settings and at various levels (e.g. direct service, administration, policy)
6. Two years of post-MSW practice experience
7. Interest and ability to teach undergraduate courses
8. Field Instructor experience
9. Field Liaison experience
10. Agreement to obtain Arkansas licensure within two years
11. Innovative, collaborative nature
12. Student, university, or community service experience
